Ghost photographed protecting drivers stranded on a snowy motorway in Kent

An eagle-eyed driver spotted what looks like a ghostly figure in Kent amid snow chaos last night.

The picture shows cars at a standstill and in the distance, what appears to be the outline of a person standing next to the central reservation.

One onlooker said the figure looked like an adult with a child.

The spooky spot had people speculating that it could be the A229’s famous ghost, which has been known to fling itself in front of vehicles.

It is believed this ghost is that off 22-year-old bride Suzanne Browne, who was killed with two friends in a road traffic accident near the bridge over the Old Chatham Road on the eve of her wedding on November 19, 1965.
